hey,
I your title caught my eye.
I am a pro make up artist and if you are trying to become confident in fair skin here are some tips.
*dont use dark colored eye shadows and lip sticks.
*use earth tones like light browns, nude lipstick, for eye shadows use brown and purples.
*dont use black eye liner, use a brown, same for mascara.
*use a light bronzer just over your cheek bones for a nice sun glow, with out the harmful rays of a tanning bed.
(also, if you do some web surfing you will find that docs have done some further research and there are saying that tanning is good for you in a few ways. There is also an article about it in cosmo, about 2 issues ago...however cancer is still a possibility but when tanning is done in a safe manor and not every day but a couple/few times a week it can be good for you, especially in the winter.)

i dont think dating him for the 4th time is a stupid thing...im in somewhat of the same situation...me and my boyfriend are on and off...its probably been the 4th time or so too...but sometimes it gets tiring...but i think its just becasue of how he is...he accuses me of things i dont even do...so yea...but um...back to u...i think its a good thing for u and him...bc it just shows how much u guys love eachother and wants to keep on trying to see if u can make things last...sometimes all it takes is another try...so best of luck to the two of u... =)

College is what you make of it. It's not crazy nonstop partying like you see in the movies. There are parties, and on a lot of weekends, sure, there are people drinking. But you don't have to GO to the parties. I used to study on Friday or Saturday night sometimes, just stay in my room and hang out. People aren't partying everywhere you go. And as far as guys... there are some obnoxious morons (whether they are drunk or not), but you will also meet a lot of really awesome people. College is a great experience, really. Don't be scared. well i definitely disagree with those two statements - that you need to go to college to be successful in life or intelligent and the other and fyi- i didnt learn to do a keg stand (dont even know what that is) lol. i agree with your previous entry, i think most learning and growing as a person is done through interaction with others and exposing yourself to life outside your comfort zone which travelling is really good for. i did go to college and loved it because i think it gave me what i needed at the time- freedom- i moved to another country and had to figure out how to be independent for the first time in my life, i figured out what i wanted to do with my life, learnt alot academically and learnt alot about myself. i can tell you one thing- it is definitely not like high school and all those rules get thrown out. all that being said...you have to know whats right for you...good luck with your decision![seriously_weird]

I really feel for you because I've just been through the same thing myself. I met a guy, told him I really liked him, he told me he had five kids (he's 44 so I already knew he'd have baggage and was OK with it). A few weeks later, he told me I'd have his kids eventually, which I obviously took to be a hint that he wanted to be with me and then what happens (after we got intimate)? I find out he has a girlfriend waiting for him at home (I work on boats with him) and, on top of that, he's also sleeping with someone else on the boat! More fool me. So the only advice I can offer is this: allow yourself to feel things. Everyone has been telling me he's not worth getting upset over but whatever you do, don't deny yourself the chance to feel otherwise it makes it much worse and just prolongs the bad feelings. If you want to cry then do it - he did break your heart after all. Punching him may also help... And just think, you got away lucky because he's been cheating on his gf so he's obviously a complete arsehole who's undeserving of you. x [Catpea33]

I think it's because of how insecure people are, and how much they want to feel loved that they'll take whatever they can get. And when they find out it "wasn't real," they move onto the next thing, and the cycle continues. It's kind of a sad reality, but it's true in a lot of cases. That's why you should hold out for someone you truly think is worth and take your take with that person. Not force a feeling that isn't necessarily there.

To get a Pell grant you have to fill out the fafsa. You can go that completely online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Get your parents tax info first and of course all your stuff. It is so simple. After you fill it out, they handle the rest. They give you a EFC, Estimated Family Contribution. They take living expenses, tuition and books and subtract your EFC. That is your Pell Grant (basically). They notify your school, which credits your account. You go to school, they give the school the money. who then gives you what is left after tuition is paid. This year, just from january, I have gotten $2000 plus ALL my tuition and books paid for. Loans kind of depend on your future career and how likely you are not to drop out. If you are going into a profession where you can afford a $100 or so paymant monthy, than they are not so bad. But if you drop out, they will hound you endlessly. The interest rates are lower if you have a cosigner. Federal Loans are the way to go if you do decide to get a loan. Thanks! I love your name. I am bug Beetles fan, thats why I clicked here actully! Grants help out a lot. I couldn't go fulltime if it wasn't for the Pell grant. It is a lot of work but you'll manage. I don't work but I have a toddler so I stay busy. If ya have any financial aid questions, I may be able to help.[thatpotsmokinghippy]

I hope everything works out for the best too. I dated a guy, Jeff, for almost 3 years and he was an alcoholic. Sure, he was super nice to all of his friends when he was drinking, but when we got home, it was a different story. We usually ended up fighting, shouting at eachother, throwing things. It was really abusive when I look back. It was also very destructive. I became so obsessed with him & thinking I couldn't live without him, it was awful. Until one day, I finally woke up and realized that he was toxic and that I couldn't do it anymore. So, over a year ago, I let him go. We still talk and see eachother very rarely, and it's Okay now. I don't owe him anything anymore, not even an explaination for the thousandth time to why I broke it off. It seems like it doesn't even matter how hard he tries to sober up, he was a liar and a drunk & I can never erase the damage he did to me. Maybe you should reconsider befriending this person. Misspennylane90, i think it is funny in a way how everyone deals with their own problums. All different, and have to pretend that these demons that they will ALWAYS have inside of them arent there. Because that can make you better. Content. Everyone wants to feel significant it seems. But in the end, the people that you pass by everyday, these strangers, or these friends, or whatever. Dont tell you sh*t. Everyone wants a life, like the movies. A plotline. That ends the way it is supposed to. And everyone wants to be that ONE girl. Who can love somebody, who is so increadibly stupid and immature to overlook everything but in the end THEY are the ones that get the good ending. You, and i, and no one else that i know or.. will EVER be that girl. Because God didnt want lucky, is what i like to believe. But when you try. Everything good happens. Everything that you only read about and only think about contimplate whether you want to believe in it or not. Not even to do these things. Because everything is extreme at that point. And this i know. That you will crushed, when you relize that you only had ONE movie moment. And its already happened.
